Markarian Chain and some IFN

Hi,
After some issues with a borrowed CGEM, I managed to capture this image, after a couple of frames it was very clear that the background was not black and some sort of low brightness structure was there.

FSQ 106 @ f3 + atik1100. Around 10hrs total exposue

Cheers,

Jose

Wonderful Jose, big pixel and fast optic is a killer for Deep Sky … you are lucky to have one of the best sensor for this kind of task.

All the best
Leo

Agree Leo! It is a great time to buy KAF11000 cameras, people are selling them at very good prices to get the newest CMOS cameras. IME CCDs are better for long exposure deep space imaging.

Cheers,

José
