I want to image an object for an hour and a half after it passes the meridian. Am I correct on thinking I can do this by setting an HA limit of 1.5 in the sequence?
That’s the way I understand it. I use an HA limit of -0.35 in my constraints to prevent it getting to the meridian as I’m always imaging in the East due to trees/local horizon.
This is correct. You have to set the ‘Exit Sequence if Target is after this HourAngle’ value in ‘Sequence Constraints’ to 1.5.
I use two kind of sequences: one with HA limit = -0.25 without meridian flip and another with HA limit = 3.15.
Thanks! It made sense, but not all things astronomical make sense, so thought I’d better check.
