Relatively new to this forum and my trial time is starting to shorten up, mostly due to weather.
I’m having problems with Voyager and getting the 10u mount to slew. Using ascom drivers, I’m able to connect to all of the equipment, but if I try to slew with the mount I get an error message:
Telescope Tracking Stopped for Inactivity and Needed Meridian Flip [STOPPED] !!
How do I add the log? It won’t allow me to copy and paste.
I had this problem last night. I think there is a side of pier bug or something because I unchecked the box under setup > mount tab > safety area where it says “GEM Stop Tracking for inactivity if Meridian flip is needed”
As soon as I unchecked that box suddenly my mount had no trouble slewing around.
Remove the flag “GEM Stop Tracking for inactivity if Meridian flip is needed” isnt a good thing and there isn’t a bug in Voyager about meridian.
“Telescope Tracking Stopped for Inactivity and Needed Meridian Flip [STOPPED] !!” message mean the mount passed the meridian cross and no activities are running in Voyager, pier crash will happen and Voyager stop the tracking. Its a safety function.
If you receive this message and are before meridian this mean your driver report wrorng pier side, report in inverted mode, you are not align on the sky or simple mount have really passed the meridian and safety is correct.
Remmy for ask support and send log solution is to send mail to support mail with the log attached.
