I was starting to look at switching power for the mount and camera remotely. It looks like this project creates a HTML interface. How do you configure Voyager/Viking to communicate with this?

Just select on Viking the “ARDUINO - Box Relay Ethernet 8 Relay” card like control.
In Voyager you can select Viking manament and Voyager will connect to the Viking Application Server.

Protocol between Viking and Voyager is normalized and doesn’t depends on I/O Card type.

Thanks for the links. Does that mean the protocol to communicate with this device is unique - ie how does Viking know how many relays are present and how does it know how to address each relay? Is this hard coded based on Filippo’s Arduino sketch?

I’m trying to understand if it would be possible to build an Arduino project with slightly different functionality to Filippo’s project and still communicate with it via Dragscript and/or Viking. I guess it might be possible to use the Script function in dragscript?

Hi Peter,

Each card imported in Viking have a dedicated interface that know exactly what is managed in terms of I/O.
If you want to add a personalized version or a new card not included in VIking you must provide the protocol and the specific.

If you dont want to use Viking and you have your code you can use a Drascript call to external script/executable.

Viking is an abstraction layer and make a card usable by Voyager in a normalized way for I/O operations and also for alarm system. Viking have an internal application server and can be installed on another PC and working on LAN.

Hey Guys! Does anyone have a documentation of the API that this ARDUINO box should respond to requests from Viking? I want to write a NodeRed TCP API for my relays.
