I do not have parafocal filters, so when the sequence requires autofocus (I use the RoboStar method), sometimes the platesolving fails when pointing the star before the AF routine. I noticed the drag script feature that allows bypassing platesolving before starting the AF, but it would also be very useful for me to have a simple flag to disable precise pointing for this case within the sequence. It would be great to have it in the “on the fly” section as well.
I hope this request can be fulfilled with minimal effort.
