MOD => In the sequence configuration a Constraints tab has been created where the various constraints that were previously present in the Sequence tab have been carried
NEW => In the Sequences it is now possible to activate the management of the Sub Foldering and File Naming with management of the File Pattern
NEW => In mosaics and in the survey it is now possible to activate the management of the Sub Foldering and File Naming with management of the File Pattern
NEW => In the configuration of the AutoFlat and SkyFlat it is now possible to indicate whether to use the sub folder / file naming management with File Pattern or the default Voyager management
NEW => In AutoFlats it is now possible to activate the management of Sub Foldering and File Naming with management of the File Pattern
NEW => In SkyFlat it is now possible to activate the management of Sub Foldering and File Naming with management of the File Pattern

BUG => Array -> [ONLY for who use CCD] The list of the Speed of the various Master and Slave Nodes has not been correctly retrieved- IMPORTANT repeat the initial retrieve off all the speed with the dedicated utility for each nodes to fix the situation and check if you need to fix the array sequence

Bravo Leo! This will really help my PI “Blink” check of images to be much easier to do because adjacent images in Blink will not be flipping back and forth. Thank you!

Voyager is an indispensable tool in my AP work. I start my DragScript on 3 OTA’s a couple hours before dusk, and the next morning I have a drive full of images. I can spend my time on the fun stuff, and I don’t have to babysit the scopes. Well done my friend, well done.

Cheers,
Rowland

Thank you for the ability to customize file names, Leo. I’m very happy about this. As Rowland said, it will make file organization and preprocessing easier for us.

Kind regards,

Glenn

Hi @Rowland_Archer and @Starship ,

thank you so much. You are welcome.
And thank for using Voyager … and happy You can do AP at full speed.
I begin to feel a lot of abstinence.

Excellent! Will this naming configuration be integrated into Dragscript in the future?

Russ

Yes Russ, if all will work fine I will transfer to DragScript Exposure block. Not sure so many use this for sequencing.

Thanks, Leo!

A very welcome addition! I learned to live with the fixed file format but this addition will make our life easier.

Cheers,

Hi Leo,

This is working well. I have one question. I use the target name as a folder name. In previous releases, spaces were kept as spaces. For example, “M 36” created a folder named “M 36” (no quotes, of course).

When I use the new file name management feature, spaces are replaced by underscores. E.g., “M 36” creates a folder “M_36”.

As a result I have my older captures in the M 36 folder and new ones in M_36. This causes them to be counted as two separate targets in my project manager.

Is the replacement of spaces by underscores something we could make optional in the target name? Or revert to the previous behavior? I don’t think I care about it in any of the other fields.

If this is a necessary part of the new feature, I can move my old data over and re-run the project frame counting scripts, so not a big issue.

Thanks,
Rowland

Hi Rowland,

I think is something I’ve forget to check. I will revert on how was original. It’s ok ?

I look at code and i fix. the only things the target name will mantains the space in folder but also on file.
You will found in the next daily build, and must be a little patience for the transition.

Thanks Leo! That will be fine.
