Go to Telescopius and click on the toolbox icon. Select telescope simulator. Scroll down a bit and you will find the framing and mosaic tool. Once you have your object framed to your liking, simply copy the coordinates over to Voyager. It is a manual process but works pretty well.
This is one addition I’am wating for voyager. I have been now using stars to frame my images, but last night I had target that I wanted custom framing but didnt have suitable star to frame it. So at night (tired) didnt come up with any good plan. Today talked with leo about this and learned I can manually write the cordinates, but still that dont apeal me.
Sorry Jukka, if you have a planetarium connected to voyager you can frame your sequence and get automatically the coords without necessary choose a star. There are some free planetarium that you can use like CdC or Hallo Northern Sky. Astrophotography need a little of planning before start … i understand is really useful to have all in one program but sometime reliable is better than all in one and external tools can really help. I invested buying Frame and Mosaic Maker from my friend but i need to add API to Application Server to work fine. I’m actually working on a better way to do automation completely unattended … this get all my resource about. Sorry again.
