Free text message notifications for Verizon and AT&T customers

@geastro created the great post “Send free custom telephone notifications to your Telegram from Voyager.” To not take away from his post, I also want to make people aware, that are in the U.S. and are either AT&T or Verizon customers, they can potentially do it more simply.

In your DragScript, using the Send Email function, under Signals, instead of using an email address in the Mail To: field, you can enter your 10-digit phone number, followed by either @txt.att.net , for AT&T, or @vtext.com, for Verizon. For example, 5551234567@txt.att.net or 5551234567@vtext.com.

I use this method, but can only confirm it works with Verizon because that’s my provided, but the AT&T option should also work per the following support article. It would be great if someone could confirm for AT&T.

Thank you, absolutely yes that’s a viable option working in UK as well with Three, there are other services providing gateways mail to sms as well.

And is more simple. Personally I use Telegram because is more ‘direct’ and there are less parts that can fail, and also emails are not as reliable generally speaking.

But maybe for someone else is simpler, so thanks for this.
