I’d love to see a “get time/location setting” from a USB GPS dongle connected to the PC and have that option update the software and mount.

NMEAtime2 software will maintain your PC clock to GPS time.

Another utility called Dimension 4 also performs time synchronisation, can be set to autorun and sync at any interval.
