On the fly Sequence without slewing, focus and guiding

I like Voyager but I need to be able to point the scope at an object and take some RGB images without the program slewing the mount, trying to focus and complain about not having correct RA or DEC values. In other words, I would like just to start the imaging taking at the current location and that is all. I looked at the Sequence Start Flag manual override but that did not stop the focus, slewing and guiding. Am I missing something?

I normally use the full ability of the sequence process but sometimes I run across an object I would like to get a few shots of and don’t want to take the time to program and plate solve and the start guiding.

Thanks
Dwight

I think you should just use a simple DragScript with a expose element (actions/camera/expose).
Then you don’t have to define a target and Voyager will just start exposing.
Are you somewhat familiar with DragScript?

I have used drag script to image multiple targets but did not think about using that for a quick image run. I will give that a try.

Thanks
