On the Fly setup for Dome

Hi,

I’m using the On The Fly sequence configuration. I’ve figured out most of it but I can’t get my dome shutter to open at the beginning of the sequence. I can open it manually from the observatory panel in the controls section. Then I can run the sequence. At the end everything behaves correctly except the shutter does not close. I have to close it manually.

I must be missing a configuration step somewhere?

How can I include the shutter operation into an on the fly sequence?

Hi Martin,

you cannot do Dome operations on the sequence using the OnTheFly. You must use dragscript or doing it manually.

Hi Leonardo,

Does the same apply for the shutter to close for safety monitor\emergency conditions such as rain?
For this function you have to use drag script too?

Hi Martin,

Absolutely yes.

Dome operations and Emergency Actions are stuff for the DragScript where you have all the controls about. You may orchestrate your actions in a safety way with some logic and cross control between status of mount for example and other useful status reading of the external sensors.

Have no sense to have this features in a simple sequence or OnTheFly.
