Problems setting input and output names

This is probably something quite trivial, but I am stuck.

I am using Viking with a Velleman VM110n interface card. Everything is going smoothly, except I can’t give useful names to the inputs and outputs. I can change them in the I/O Card Setting tab, and I then click on Save Objects Description, but when I restart Viking the names have reverted to the default.

Is there a text file I have to edit?

No, just change the name and press save button.
