Support for Altair Hypercam and similar

Hi Leo,

Would you consider natively supporting Touptek imaging cameras such as Altair Hypercam/Orion Starshoot and the like ? At the moment there is support through ASCOM though this is restricted due to the limitations of that interface. Other software is starting to include native support so I wondered if it could be included with Voyager as well.

Hi Robert,

no native driver support for Altair in Voyager … now and in the future.
Reasons about isn’t something I can’t explain in a forum. Sorry.

I’ve no interest at all in Altair cameras (only given as an example) but I am interested in Touptek cameras and my question was really about them.

I’m also interested in Touptek camera support.
Here’s a link for the SDK on Touptek website.

No response from the manufacturer on our request for a camera for the test.
This camera will not import in direct mode, you can use ASCOM mode if they have ASCOM drivers.

it looks like this is and old post but now Touptek cameras are becoming more present in the users shelf. Has any progress being made to allow the use of Touptek native drive in Voyager?
