We just had two of our 12 mounts (AM5 N) fail when the users updated to a new firmware (1.8.6). We have a support request in with ZWO, so they are aware of our problem.

ZWO got back to us and the updated firmware change the mounts park command. The old ZWO command would park with OTA facing West. Now the OTA faces North, CW faces West.
I guess for portable systems it does not matter…but for small fixed systems it can be nerve racking to see your remote telescope behave unexpectedly.
Both our systems saw moment after the park command, as if tracking was still on. We were able to fall back to our old version of the firmware, so we are operational agin.
