ASI Native driver support

Given the inability to use the latest SDKs from ZWO ASI, support for direct drivers for these cameras is frozen to the latest working SDK for Voyager which is 1.16.0. At now … Not having received support for our requests and seeing that for Voyager the main feature is reliability, we cannot do otherwise.

Today my QHY294MM Pro arrived. I was able to check what goes with the ROI and solve the problem (its was necessary understand when binning coming from FPGA or not). The ROI is now working correctly. Thanks to Stefano Seveso from ArteSky for providing me with the Camera.

I created a new Version 2 native ASI driver while leaving the previous native ASI driver unchanged.

It seems to me the only solution I have to avoid malfunctions resulting from new versions of the SDK for the other cameras. Version V1 use the consolidated SDK 1.16.0, version V2 the latest available from the ASI site.

If you have any considerations I would be happy to read them.

Thanks a lot for this, Leonardo. The version V2 native ASI driverwill be available in Voyager 2.3.x, right?

Already coded , just in test

I will need your help for testing it. I will release tomorrow a new daily build about.

The new V2 driver has been working perfectly with my ASI294MM Pro all night. I am running a session in Bin2 right now. RoboFocus, which relies on ROI for star selection, has performed beautifully.

Molte grazie, Leonardo!

Thank you! I use normal current ASI driver in Voyager. All works fine. What is the benefit of using V2 in the next version?

New driver is to solve a different way to work of binning for newest camera introduced having binned pixel onchip and need a special binning functions on board FPGA. To not eventually ruin normal work for who always used the first driver I leave it available. Who have the ASI294MM Pro must use the V2 ASI native driver in Voyager.
